International artists meet to celebrate the music of Fabrizio De André, translating his songs into different languages and dedicating to him the most beautiful music of their repertoire.
Acoustic Night’s 18th edition takes route away from Italy and creates a broader international recognition for one of Italy’s most important singer-songwriters. The deep repertoire of Fabrizio De Andrè will be revisited, translated, rearranged and interpreted by the guest musicians who are involved in the project because of their deep appreciation for the music of Fabrizio and for their songs which touch themes similar to those of the Genoese singer-songwriter.
Felix Meyer comes from the scene of the “street musicians” of Hamburg. His extraordinary voice was heard by a famous music producer who immediately offered him a contract with the prestigious Sony label. Despite the success, Felix for years wanted to continue to perform on the street, to maintain a direct relationship with the people.
Eric Manouz, multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer, has been part of the Felix band, has shared his path over the years as arranger and producer.
James Keelaghan, already known to the Genoese audience as a guest from Acoustic Night 13, is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for the beauty of the voice and the depth of his lyrics that touch social, historical and introspective themes.
