It's the 35 anniversary of the West end, and I can hardly believe it. I'm not exactly sure, but I think i was one of the first acts to play there. I'll check!
The first time I played Regina, it was as guitarist to Margaret Christl. That was 1984. The opening act was a very young Colin James.
Little Red Wagon Winery started back in 2010 with the planting of their first grape vines. In the past year, they have also turned it into an amazing venue! An hour north of Ottawa in West Clarendon, near Shawville,Quebec it's a beautiful place for a concert.
Its amazing to me that after nearly 40 years doing this, there are still festivals in Canada I haven't played! I am so looking forward to appearing at the Harrison Festival of the arts, curated by one of my favourite people, Andy Hillhouse.
